Sheema Tours was born from a simple passion – sharing the incredible beauty and rich culture of Sri Lanka with travelers from around the world. Founded by local Sri Lankans who have traveled extensively themselves, we understand what international visitors truly want from their holiday experience.

Our founder, Sheema, started this company after years of working with international tour operators and noticing a gap between what tourists expected and what they actually received. Too many visitors left Sri Lanka having seen only the surface – missing out on the warm hospitality, incredible food, and genuine cultural experiences that make our country so special.

Today, our team consists of passionate locals who speak English, German, French, and Japanese. We’ve hosted families from Australia, adventure seekers from Europe, honeymooners from North America, and solo travelers from Asia. Each guest teaches us something new about creating better experiences.
